The State Multi-Event Championships are held on the first full weekend in March each year.
The 2018 State Multi-Event Championships will be held in Wagga Wagga on Saturday & Sunday, 3 & 4 March 2018.
First event each day will be at 9am, with first call at 8.45am. Athletes participate in ALL of the events on offer for their particular age group. Performances for all events are allocated points, based on the LANSW Multi-Event pointscore system. The points are then added together to determine final results.

As usual, LANSW will require parents to act as Athlete Controllers (which is similar to centre age managers) at the State Multi-Event. There will be up to two (2) Athlete Controllers per age group and gender (eg. Under 9 Boys Blue, Under 9 Girls Pink, Under 10 Boys Silver etc). Click HERE to access the Athlete Controller memo. Groups without Athlete Controllers (Parent helpers) will not be permitted to leave the Meeting Point areas if they don't have an Athlete Controller. If you are able to assist, please contact Diane Levy via email email@example.com.
LIST OF COMPETITORS will sent to all athletes who have entered. This will show the age group and colour group allocated to each athlete.

LANSW State Team
Three boys and three girls from the U15 age group will be selected from their performances at the State Multi-Event Championships, to compete in the Australian Little Athletics Championships, which is held on the weekend nearest to Anzac Day each year. These athletes will be selected based on their performances in the events which make up the ALAC Multi-Event competition. Each year the Australian Little Athletics Championships is hosted by a different State/Territory Association. In 2018 the event will be hosted by LAQLD. The event will be held as a two-day event for the first time on Saturday and Sunday, 28 & 29 April 2018 at SOPAC.
