The State Multi-Event Championships are held on the first full weekend in March each year.
The 2019 State Multi-Event Championships will be held at Barden Park, Dubbo on Saturday & Sunday, 2 & 3 March 2019. Thank you to Dubbo City Council and Dubbo Little Athletics for assisting with this event. Entries will open early in the new season. Usually an officials seminar is held on the Friday evening prior to the event. More information will be posted HERE at a later date.
First event each day will be at 9am, with first call at 8.45am. Athletes participate in ALL of the events on offer for their particular age group. Performances for all events are allocated points, based on the LANSW Multi-Event pointscore system. The points are then added together to determine final results.

Age Group Managers
As usual, we will require parents to act as Age Group Managers (which is similar to centre age managers) at the State Multi-Event. There will (hopefully) be up to two (2) Age Group Managers per age group and gender (eg. Under 9 Boys Blue, Under 9 Girls Pink, Under 10 Boys Silver etc). Call for parents/guardians to act as Age Group Managers will be made once entries open. Please note that groups without Age Group Managers (Parent helpers) will not be permitted to leave the Meeting Point areas until they have someone to act as Age Group Manager. If you require more information please contact Diane Levy via email firstname.lastname@example.org.
LIST OF COMPETITORS will be sent to all athletes who enter. This will show the age group and colour group allocated to each athlete plus the name of the Age Group Manager. Remember that athletes WILL NOT be permitted to leave the meeting point areas if there is no age group manager. An updated listing will be posted when we have received more age group managers.
State Multi-Event specific shirts will be organised. Normally these shirts will need to be pre-ordered. Details will be advised in due course.

LANSW State Team
Three boys and three girls from the U15 age group will be selected from their performances at the State Multi-Event Championships, to compete in the Australian Little Athletics Championships, which is held on the weekend near Anzac Day each year. These athletes will be selected based on their performances in the events which make up the ALAC Multi-Event competition. Each year the Australian Little Athletics Championships is hosted by a different State/Territory Association. In 2019 the event will be hosted by LATas. The event will be held as a two-day event on Saturday and Sunday, 27 & 28 April 2019 in Hobart.
