North East Met Zone Championships
Zone Championships is a competition where Little Athletes from U7 – U17’s have the opportunity to represent Northern Districts against Little Athletes from other clubs in our zone.
The 2024/2025 Season Zone Championships will be held from Friday 22nd – Sunday 24th November 2024 at Blacktown International Sports Centre.

Athletes are selected to represent the club after they have registered their interest. U7-U11 Selections will be determined through the athlete’s performances at Northern Districts Saturday competitions. U7-U11 can choose up to 4 events and U12+ can choose up to 6 events.
All U7-U17 Little Athletes are invited and encouraged to nominate themselves to compete in the upcoming Zone Carnival. There will not be a meet at Foxglove on this week. Zone Carnival is a fun and rewarding experience for athletes of all experience levels and we would love to see as many NDLAC athletes there as possible! Unlike school carnivals there is no qualifying criteria and any athlete can participate in Zone. Athletes can compete in 1 event or many, attend Friday, Saturday, Sunday or all!! Contact championships@ndlac.org.au with any questions.
The Championships team will work through athlete preferences to make selections, placing as many athletes in their desired events as possible. Due to limitations on the number of events athletes can participate in and the number of athletes NDLAC can enter per event, we cannot guarantee that every athlete preference will be met.

State Combined Event 1st and 2nd March 2025
The State Combined Carnival is held on the first weekend in March each year, at a regional venue. At this carnival, athletes participate in ALL of the events on offer for their age group and points are allocated for performances recorded in each event, based on the Little Athletics NSW Multi-Event Point score tables/system. The points across all events conducted for each age group are added together to determine final results.
